
Sam was born and lives in Altoona, WI, with his amazing wife Kim and children. After graduating from Altoona High School, he attended East Tennessee State University and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in teaching. Mr. Schlewitz then earned his law degree from the University of Memphis. He returned to his hometown in April of 2008 and joined Ron Poquette and Sarah Donnellan, a family orientated General Practice Law Firm that genuinely cares about their clients. They are all from the area and have earned the reputation of “Your Local Legal Team!”
Sam has been an active member of the Lions Club, United Cerebral Palsy, the Eau Claire County Bar Association, State Bar of WI, National Organization of Social Security Representatives, and loves coaching youth basketball. He is a former member of the Altoona Housing Authority and served as the city attorney for Mondovi, WI from 2014-2018. He currently serves as President of the Nick Schlewitz Memorial Foundation. He is an avid outdoorsman and loves animals.
Mr. Schlewitz currently handles cases in multiple areas of law including Social Security Disability, Workers Compensation, Estate Planning, Personal Injury and Probate. Sam is proud of the fact that “The Eau Claire/Chippewa Valley area has always been home to me and always will be.” Mr. Schlewitz truly loves serving the local community and genuinely cares about people, which allows him to build strong relationships with his clients.
